Quantum-secure timestamping for verifiable digital proofs
SasaSavic Quantum Shield™ offers quantum-secure timestamping using dual signatures (ECDSA P-256 and NIST-standardized ML-DSA-65) to ensure verifiable digital proofs. It hashes files locally with SHA-256, dual-signs ledger entries, and anchors them to Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps. This service is the first publicly accessible quantum-resistant timestamping solution as of October 2025. Traditional cryptographic methods like ECDSA and RSA are vulnerable to future quantum computer attacks, which could break these systems using Shor's algorithm. Current quantum-resistant methods include hash-based aggregation, classical-only services planning migration, and solutions requiring re-timestamping. However, these lack standardized verification and compatibility with existing systems. Quantum Shield™ addresses these gaps by implementing a dual-signature architecture with NIST-standardized post-quantum signatures.
