Velox

Velox is a bike route planner that calculates travel time using your real average speed, imported from Strava or entered manually, offering more accurate predictions than generic speeds. It uses Google Maps API for route creation, providing options like fastest, fewer climbs, or longer routes, and includes elevation profiles. The app integrates with OpenWeather API for weather forecasts and Google's traffic library for real-time traffic data. Velox also calculates calories based on weight, age, and intensity, and provides elevation gain and loss details. It supports MTB, speed/road, and urban biking, and allows route history saving. The app operates entirely on AWS's free tier.
