Pianolyze

Pianolyze is a browser-based AI tool that transcribes piano recordings in real-time, supporting MP3, WAV, FLAC, and M4A files. Users can slow playback, zoom in on notes, and analyze harmonic choices. The tool runs entirely client-side using ONNX Runtime for transcription, Web Workers for processing, WebGL for rendering, Web Audio API for playback, and IndexedDB for caching, ensuring no data leaves the device. It evolved from a Mac app called Harmonic Analyzer, removing the need for downloads and expanding accessibility beyond Mac users. Ideal for solo piano recordings, Pianolyze offers insights into complex passages and voicing techniques.
