JollyTango is a real-time audio travel guide app available on iOS and Android that narrates stories and insights about locations as users fly, drive, sail, or walk, using a virtual father-son duo (Jolly Jr. & Jolly Sr.). It synthesizes data from external providers, LLMs, and its internal database, making decisions based on travel mode, narration preference, and location proximity. The app supports audio narration in six languages, works when the phone is locked, and requires no signup, offering 24-hour or 3-day passes for purchase. Users can follow flights or ship journeys from home and choose from five narration focuses: General Overview, Economy & Real Estate, Food Culture, Local Attractions, and Nature & Outdoors.
